AC101 & AC201 Principles of Accounting
The accounting equation and basic accounting principles and procedures are presented in this business administration course. The accounting cycle and developing skills in journalizing, posting and preparing financial statements are emphasized. In Principles of Accounting II, students build on theory presented in Accounting I. It includes partnership and corporate accounting, introduction to cost accounting, budgeting and managerial concepts, statement analysis, statement of changes in financial position, and computer accounting applications.

AC220 Payroll and Tax Accounting
This course introduces two topics of extreme importance to the everyday operations of a business - principles of payroll accounting and procedures for income tax preparation. Personal and business tax procedures will be taught, allowing the student to understand how payroll and tax laws affect business and the employee.
